There might be a really good reason they didn't turn up but then again I wouldn't be daft enough to pay for a hotel room in the first place
It happens to often........always meet first then if you need a room the option is there

There's advice all over the FAQs about travelling long distances and paying for hotels for someone you haven't met. Use some sense in the future, and stop shaming people online! We only have your word for it that anything was arranged. Now forum goers will think they're flaky. |

Use the no show option on the report button which is on every message and profile.
Naming and shaming is not allowed in the forums because it is hearsay. I could name anyone and say they didn't show, it wouldn't mean it was true.
As others have said, don't book the room unless you are all there. It's an expensive lesson to learn but I doubt you'll forget it.
And if meeting, even for a coffee, pick a time limit and if there's no contact then walk away. Half an hour is my limit. |
