Good morning
I have to call the Housing Department at Basingstoke Council this morning about being underpaid some money they owe me. I've already confirmed the situation on the 'phone and in writing, like they insisted, and they've still sodded it up.
Wish me luck. |

Call Basingstoke Council for me
(PS it takes seconds to change access rights if you can talk to the right people. The delay is usually getting the request logged, authorised, rubber-stamped in triplicate and for the right people to get round to it) |

Morning fabbers
It's the quiet before the storm today.
Off to Cardiff later and Christmas conferences, and I'm closing it tomorrow's session
I'll also be accepting my new job offer, pending T's and C's

If your IT support team are on site it ought to be easy. They're usually males who are geeky to some degree, (not always - I was one once, many, many moons ago). Go and smile at them. |

Common problem now. It may lower costs but it doesn't help efficiency and I think they probably lose more in wasted staff time. That doesn't show in the bottom line in the same way though.

Morning all.
I'll let you know if it's a good one after I open the message that just hit my inbox which will let me know if I've managed to scare my second man of the day off!
I get a coffee meet arranged then do my little obligatory talk and suddenly they say they'll pass. |
