Just got my phone bill today and was suprised that I'd been charged for using 0845 and 0870 numbers when BT boasted earlier this year that they would be free .... Read on ..
A little bit of cunning advertising on BT's behalf .. The numbers are only free within your chosen call package, ie if you get free evening/weekend calls, these numbers are free during this period and at ALL other times you pay
The only time that they are 100% free is if you subscribe to BT's package which gives free calls all day and weekend
I wonder how many people have phoned these numbers in the misguided belief that they would no longer be charged for them, as described in BT's very misleading advertising campaign ...
We for one have been caught out by it ! |

The only reason I knew about this 'offer' was the TV advert and the ad makes it quite clear the calls are only free as part of a package. |

wouldn't touch em for love or money
virgin is far by the best provider been with them for 8 years an not many problems |
