Following on from the "majority of cyclists jump red lights" rubbish it has prompted me to jump back on my personal hobby horse.
I do a fair amount of milage on my bike and wouldn't dream of hitting the roads without a helmet on yet time and again I see people without them from people with expensive bikes and all the gear to kids going to school. And worst of all whole families with young kids.
Isn't it about time it was law to use one when on the public roads? |
