Being self employed I thankfully don't have to endure the work's Christmas party. The last one I went to I ended up necking a hot guy, before realising that he played for the local rugby team and that he was a friend of an ex FB. Slightly awkward when I saw them together! |

There is a Christmas party being held by my employer but the nature of my job means I've never met my 'co-workers' and have only metmy employer once, several months ago.... It might have been interesting to meet some people but it is being held on a school night so I've got the kids home. |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
As I have changed regional HQs this year I can't go to mine. Too far away and I'm not sure I would get the cost to get there approved.
I'll take some Gluhwein and mince pies in to work on the 20th instead. |

Can't believe some venues that are being mentioned. Awesome. The boringest CP I ever attended was in the canteen of the Court house where I worked, few crappy nibbles and compulsory listening to the Judges' Choir. Awful.
And the best one? None spring to mind. |

We're going out for lunch then half day sesh in St Bees and onto Whitehaven...I shall be heading back to Arse End earlyish as I'm going to see comic Jon Richardson (8 out of 10 cats) at our theatre - should be a good night, he loved coming to Arse End last time (we're good hecklers) |
