I drank on a first meet the other day, for the first time; I definitely think it's better not to. Your head's clearer and less chance of misinterpretation (not that, that happened with me but just my thoughts).

I don't drink on a first meet or subsequent ones, simply because it affects my performance. I've never met anyone who objects to that.
