"I've always wondered why Thursdays are the day for a good rant?"
People are getting ratty and frustrated by the fourth day at work, and yet their blood is beginning to rise at the thought of what might happen at the weekend!
They're like hand grenades with the pin pulled by Thursday, can go off BOOM! at any moment!

When I worked in social housing Thursday was the worst day of the week. People would get in a panic to have repairs done before the weekend or speak to someone before a long lonely weekend hit them.
It had to be a very special reason for me to grant leave for just a Thursday as it was all hands to the deck.
It is sometimes like that in here but with the option for everyone to take leave and ignore the panics. |
