Most slimming aids (unless they are illegal ones bought off the internet) just contain ingredients that make you piss like a racehorse!

Someone I know mentioned one to be a while back and when I looked it up nearly every single ingredient mentioned diuretics!

They all say 'need to be coupled with diet and exercise' in other words the pills do sod all and it's the diet and exercise that help you lose the weight.

I'd never take a pill to help me lose weight. I'd also never have a gastric band because I know I haven't put the effort needed in to lose weight.

Unfortunately I am fighting things that like to Make me fat like insulin resistance and contraceptive hormones etc but it's a battle I am slowly (very slowly) winning!

As someone above says, eat better possibly less) an exercise. Learn what your body can tolerate and what it can't. I know that carbs are bad for me due to my insulin resistance so I try to limit those if I can. I'm not religious about it and I dot beat myself up if a carb slips past my lips. I also don't let one bad meal affect the rest of my day or week.

loosing weight is not easy for those of us on long term medication and conditions that slow down our metabolism. It's a struggle and you have to re educate yourself on what works now as opposed to what used to work. I've learnt that I need to keep away from carbs but sometimes I cant resist. Its not the end of the world. Tomorrow is another day. Ive entere to do a Power Walking Marathon next year so Ill get there. Like Evie, Ive never taken a slimming pill and never would. If only it were that easy. My motto, Eat less, move more
