Im currently single and yes I do enjoy being single but im now ready for for another relationship. So ladies if you're interested come and get me lol. On a serious note though its nice to have someone to go home to. Sometimes its the small things just like a cuddle every now and again. |

I like the closeness aspect of a relationship, but I also like my independence to have and do my own things (e.g. interests). Thus, I perfer a relationship, but that we also have our own time and space too - if you know what I mean? |

I must admit I prefer being in a relationship but obviously only if it's a good relationship !!...pros and cons to both I suppose but for me I'd choose a relationship |

yeah, I didn't have a relationship or even any sex at all for 7 years, and that is really crap. Having now been in a relationship with a child for 18 years, I can't imagine living without her. It does get easier but then people go through their life changes so always expect the unexpected. |

we are in a long distance relationship and although we would love to be together, neither of us are sure we could actually live together, or with anyone else for that matter.
it really is the best of both worlds.
i get to be with someone i love and cherish, as often as we possibly can, yet we have our own space and time alone. |

I started out as single and was happy, now im in a committed relationship and i couldnt be happier. We started off on here with a social that evolved to a play meet to lots of meets to FWB to BF/GF to exclusive partners and lovers and in love with each other. |

When I look at posts on here of people asking for advice on their complicated relationships, or see posts on Facebook of people splitting up or bitching about their partners it makes me enjoy being single.
But I wouldn't mind a couple of regular 'friends' that enjoy cuddling up etc occasionally too. |

I find the more you want a relationship the more you look and the more you look the more desperate you get and the more desperate you get the more likely you are going to end up in a bad relationship....I've been single coming on 4 years....it has its moments |

I have been happy being single for 35 years, my work, horses and dogs have always come first and I haven't wanted to make time for a relationship, however that's changing, and now I am making more time so a relationship would be nice, if it happens. |

Long time singleton here.
Always been very comfortable with it but I have recently been thinking it would be nice to have someone. But I'm very picky and wouldn't be prepared to give up my single life unless they were something special. |

There is only me and my girl and with me not being able to date I have to stay single until Mr exceptional comes along

Yeah I think friends with benefits would be the best kind of relationship. All the good stuff without any of the shit that goes with it. Who doesn't love a good cuddle? xx |

As a singke mum I have made the choice to be single until my girls are both finished school. How I feel does have an affect on them even if I try not to let it. My little one is a very empathetic person so if I hurt she does too. So I avoid relationships to avoid the pain. Perfectly happy with my choice as my childrens happiness makes me happy and I have plenty of time for settling into s relationship when they have grown up

The flip side of that coin is that if you're dating, the people you meet will look at you oddly and ask why you're single.
If it was purely about looks I'm sure I'd be in a relationship
Seriously though, chemistry, compatibility and timing for BOTH people in or for a relationship is damn elusive.
One of you may feel it is all there but if that is not reciprocated then that = zero chance of you two being together (or being together for long in the case of those who choose to "settle"). |
