H the singer in Steps is also called Ian Watkins and he has been receiving dogs abuse on FB and twitter. Isn't it a prerequisite that before you send abuse that you make sure you're abusing the right person. |

No one is saying it's the same as the abuse the real Ian Watkins did bit it's not nice to go Round abusing innocent people. Things like that, whether real or not can leave a lasting a damaging wake behind them. |

It's like when a pediatrician got attacked because some dozy cunts couldn't read properly. They think they are being big and hard and doing society a favour but in reality they are just imbeciles. |

Fair enough if he gets abuse for his appalling music, but a name mix-up can cause real trouble. My uncle Adolf Blair had a similar problem until he changed his name to Tony. |

Reminds me of the story that the cyclist Sir Chris Hoy used to get loads of abuse on social media whenever the football referee Chris Foy had a bad game lol. |

It's the trial of those guys who killed and burned that disabled guy to death atm - over unfounded paedo allegations. That says all that's needed about how cruelty and harm to others is so very wrong. Many accused wrongly and bullied take their own lives. It is no laughing matter. It's very easy for people to joke about this on here but to be targetted with abuse on a case like this when you are totally innocent must be nightmare! Doesnt say much for the people who are sending these messages if they think that the Ian Watkins who has pleaded guilty would be on social media sites!!! The real victims here though are the children and babies who were abused ! Find it hard to see anything amuseing about this post. |

This thread is in no way making light of the awful case of abuse by the lost prophets singer. It isn't making fun of it at all.
Some posters have made fun of the idiots who think they are doing a service by harassing someone who shares his name. But don't they deserve ridicule ? |
