A lot of NGOs look for volunteers over the festive period to help the less well off. It's really very rewarding and fulfilling. Just a few hours go a long way.
Also opportunity to meet different people and make new friends. |

A friend did it a few years back and she found it very rewarding. She wasn't the type to usually sign up to that either. As far as I know she's doing it again this year. |

My sproglet and i go visiting old folk all yr round. I worked in care before i became a mum, its awful how many are alone. |
