I was so cold last night I had to get out of bed to find my long johns and a thick pair of socks to wear in bed.. Even had to wear a woolly hat... I'm not enjoying this cold spell

Sheffield

Get a bedspread/coverlet to go over your duvet - it makes a big difference on those colder nights.

I'm not enjoying this cold weather at all. It makes getting up in a morning 10 times harder.

My bathroom has NO heating in it at all and this is the first house I've had where the bathroom isn't as warm as toast ...... Out of interest, are most other peeps' bathrooms heated or not ?

I don't have central heating, I do have a wood burning rayburn cooker/ heater in the kitchen, it heats the hot water, use for cooking and it heats the kitchen, I live in one room over the winter, and use the cold bathroom when I have to, living alone, I cant afford to heat the whole place.
