me man, you woman, ugg!

I'm sure someone has probably asked this before, but I can't remember seeing it.

You rarely see a couple stating no single women and it can seem to the observer that it's kind of the male specifying they will only meet another woman and no men.

I'm not on a whinge and I quite happily having fun on this site. so its not sour grapes. Just always wondered.
