I'm disappointed someone went fort a shower and didn't get killed, but they did find a head in the fridge so evens out

Yes, the origin story of why Jason is what he is. He isn't the masked killer he was from part 2 onwards. His return marks the point where he could be considered a paranormal/undead serial killer!
