Please can someone tell me what gives people the right, and what kicks do people get out of desicrating a dead babies grave. I went to the cemetery earlier today to visit my baby and when I got there some scumbag has smashed up his headstone and totally trashed his resting place. There is not a single thing they havnt smashed. Im devastated how can people be so vile and cruel. |

I'm so sorry to hear this - if someone did that to my son's grave I'd be beside myself with grief and anger!
What vile scumbags these people are. Do report it though - there may be other incidents and the police might be able to compile evidence and catch the utterly despicable bastards who did this.

Happened to my nephews grave couple year back i will not say what happened when i found who did it. You have my sympathies someone will let slip who it was eventually. |

Omg I can't imagine how you must feel.
That is utterly disgusting, hope they catch them and march them through the streets with a plackard round their neck saying what they've done.

i'm lost for words what on earth go's through a persons mind when they are doing something as vile and disgusting as this . i hope they catch the person or persons who did this  |

Sadly there are scum like that in this world who do things like that because they have no respect for themselves or others.
And until the law stops being soft on them they will always be around.
Hope you reported it to the police.
Thoughts are with you I cant begin to appreciate how you feel. |

its because these morons havent got the balls to go up against someone thats alive.
its fcuking disgusting.
the lowest of the low.
its one of the reasons all of our family have been cremated. after one of the relatives graves were similarly destroyed.

Thank you all for your kind messages in the forum and the private messages i recieved. Your words mean a lot to me and helped me get through a difficult time. Just an update really. Not yet found out who did this as there was no cctv but now the council are looking into it putting some in as this has happened again and a lady was also mugged there a couple of weeks ago. I have been told i will recieve £100 compensation and that i shall donate to charity for premature baby unit. I have now ordered a new stone but sadly connot be laid till the new year but a very kind man who i met off this site and meet quite regular very kindly suprised me the other day with a stone teddy bear with my babies name etc on it to put on his grave till stone is laid. Again i would like to thank you all for the support you gave me |

I was absolutely disgusted to have read this. What is the matter with people?
Anyway, what goes round comes round - and it does. This guy may do it to another grave and get caught... I dread to think what communal reaction would be and what would happen to him if people found out. |
