I think it is a problem of shaving, and especially if you are dark skinned, as the follicles do show. The more you try and get a close shave, then you run the risk of it becoming spotty. I always think that dark haired girls look sexier with a landing strip or neatly trimmed. Otherwise wax and it will look smoother.
I am blond so the good thing about that is that the follicles are hardly noticeable and blond hair doesnt seem to be quite as coarse as dark, its more downy type hair. |

Yes, the colour of hair, will have a big impact (maybe the wrong choice of word) on how the hair follicles appear, under the skin....
