"What is the difference between a vitamin and a hormone"

Roughly the same as the difference between chalk and cheese!!

A vitamin is a compound usually found in food and required by the body for healthy function, a hormone is a chemical messenger made within the body that triggers organs or tissues to react in a certain way. Does this help?
