Last November I had a rather heated debate with my girls cos they wanted me to buy fireworks and "have Dad set them off in the garden" my argument was why when I an take you to an organised display, pay a nominal fee and dont have to worry about Dad getting burnt.
Fireworks when used properly are lovely to watch, but not in my garden
I do hold the belief tho that unless you have a damn good reason you shouldnt be able to buy fireworks and really is a Saturday night in March a good time to set them off?? I think NOT

I Launch 4 rockets a year. As a mark of love and respect.
My late wife went out with a bang .....She passed away on the 5th Nov !!!!!!!!! but here again she always did like a bang !!!
Not being disrespectful as this was her sense of humour.
1 on the 5th 2 on her birthday 3 on our anniversary and 4 new years eve all topped off with large Glen Morangies which was her favourite tipple |

Thing is im really scared of fireworks and around the 5th of november i prepare myself, i do like to see a good display from a distance. I think fireworks should be banned from the public buying them and you have to have some form of permit from the council to buy them. Taking kids to a big display is fun, even if it costs £20 for 4 your not going to get much for that in the back gardenxkaren |
