Not something I give much thought to really: up to the individual if it works for them!
Don't see the point of having old pictures if you're going to meet! You'd have to have a screw loose to put a 10 year pic up lol!! |

i totally agree, some people have old ones and it can be quite a shock when you meet em and they look nothing like their pics...my advice??? Cam before!!!! |

It depends on what you want your avatar to do for you.
For the forums, it's handy to keep them as they are, as each poster would be instantly recognised by regular forumites.
But, to change the avatar regular may well get a little more attention from those seeking a meet. |

we change our avatar regularly, just to help refresh the profile. I'm always adding bits and removing bits of the profile and usually change the pic at the same time. The current pic was taken last week.. |
