I accidentally swallowed the top ball of my tounge bar whilst eating my dinner but will it be okay until tomorrow when i can buy a new ball for the bar? |

The tongue does start to close up pretty quickly-the best thing you can do is go back to your piercer and tell them what has happened-they have a special tool they can use to reopen piercings which have started to close.
If you try to shove the bar through when it's started to close up, you may tear the delicate skin inside the piercing.
Saying that-I left my tongue bar out for 8 years and the bar went through after some force but my tongue was very sore and very swollen for a few weeks!

I've done this but had a spare with me. But I would try and get something ASAP as it can close up really quick. Tongues heal much faster than other areas. Oh and it also depends on how long you have had it and the size. A normal stud which I think is 12gage can close up in a few hours. So says the internet  |

I'm always confused with this. Had mine pierced for 5 years, stopped wearing it about 5 years ago but it's still open, no difficulty at all to get in! |

Some pierced tounges once the bar is removed can stay open, my sister is the same as yourself. Ive just tried the bar on mine and its still open |

Sieving shit, use sieve colander in toilet pan, wash with shower, and you will get it back takes 2 to 3 days usually. wash well, and save yourself a few bob  |
