If seeing this on a profile causes you pain and strife - Simple solution fellas!!
Get married!! Or get a girlfriend!!
Bingo!!! Then you're automatically no longer a 'single guy' and can message all the profiles you previously were blocked from contacting!!!
Free advice - no charge!!! 
*this solution may not work in all (or any !) cases and serious consideration should be given to the logistical and financial implications of getting married/finding a life partner/shacking up with your GF as a means of attempting to contact others for random sex. Tbh - you're probably better off not bothering and just sticking to those looking for you.
