Make chunky soup then, with chicken in. Proper onion soup shouldn't be vegetarian as its made with good beef stock

Well the cheesy toast should be quite chewy ...but can't help you on the meat mate, have a deux cent gramm'er with fromage instead........

There's an alpine restaurant with roaring fires halfway down the mountain in Flaine where we always used to stop off on the last run down and drink 'til it got dark before skiing home giggling like pixies.......and they did the best french Onion Soup in the WORLD, in big brown earthenware bowls with huge slabs of chewy toasted cheesy bread on top...hmmmm, the mention of it always reminds me! Happy days..........

Do you eat or drink soup?

Does that answer depend on if its in a cup or not?

No wonder my hair is falling out with all this going on in my head

I think common practice is to tip it in a pot plant when nobody is looking

Is it 'French........onion soup or French onion.....soup ?

In other words, is there such a thing as a French onion that you make soup out of, or is it an onion soup recipe that comes from France ?

You know what, it doesn't matter, I'm not really bothered either way.
