"its nice you remember your dad like that my dad would have been 84 on 22nd so we will be celebrating in his absence"
Yeh I remember u saying Ruby bless ya, u never forget but learn to cope.
I wasn't with my dad when he died and we hadn't spoke for a while and not for the want of trying but I know he loved me and he knew I loved him and that's what I hold on too and the good memories, not the bad xxxx |

"My thoughts with you ...never seen eye to eye with my dad when he was living but miss him so much now he gone????x"
Yeh my dad was stubborn as he got older but I never gave up on him but he gave up after my brother died earlier that same year!
I forgive him though coz I knew he was in pain and suffering, now he is at peace and safe with his family x |

I don't have any bad memories I class myself as fortunate to have had him around all my years of growing up .. we were all with him when he died .. its my mum that is not coping well |

Mine will be three years ago this week, so gutted that neither he nor my mother lived to see us get married, it was very weird not having them at the wedding.
My sympathies, as I can fully relate. |

My mother died when I was two, my father was nearly 14 years ago and I still miss him. He met my daughter, just, but not my son.
Nice to spend some time remembering. |

"Been four years since I lost my dear dad, always have a few beers and listen to his fav songs!!!
Not in a miserable way, just remembering the good memories!"
Awh that's good
I lost my dad 27 years ago and yesterday I was at my aunties funeral, my uncle was telling me loads of stories about him and their antics, made me feel very happy on such a sad day |

Yes the only way to be
Celebrate his life and not mourn his passing |

I lost my Dad 30 years ago, my mother 7 years ago and my Sister 6, Sad times, but I just think of the good times, like the day Sis carried me home from the woods when I fell off a swing and broke a leg |

I lost my dad a year ago this week
I didn't know him well ... he didn't know me. He sent me a mail before he died asking me if I forgave him and he passed away 3 days later
I had lots I still needed to ask him - I wanted to know much more about what my mum was like because she got very ill when I was a teenager and passed away.
Cherish each moment .. forgive ... and love
