My bruv and I have just been invited over to Germany to cheer up our poor mate Big J. Last year a German multi-national took over his company and announced the shut down their UK plant. They said Big J could keep his job…..but in Germany! He’s been over there since the start of Feb, whilst his family are back home in the UK (cos his kids are in the middle of their GCSEs and his missus has a good job etc.) I don’t think he is keen on globalization these days as he used to be LOL.  |

It is happening with many multinationals at the moment. They buy a company then bring the workload in house. British companies have done the same in the past but its all the other way right now. |
