Following on from a previous thread...

If you met someone nothing like their profile...

How would you turn them down without being insensitive or hurtful?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The truthful answer is that I make my excuses and leave and then follow it up with a written message saying they are not for me.

More often than not though I find something I like about them and work with that but it doesn't mean it becomes sexual. Well, not every time.

I would like to say that I have the right words to hand face to face but if I am not sure how someone will respond then I thank them for their time and leave.

I have socials first so makes it easier, I would have a drink and chat then let them know it wouldn't go any further.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Last time it happened I said something like 'I won't be coming home with you but would you like another drink?' He took it pretty well.

Socials are the way to do it

Not saying that my socials haven't ended up with a good smooch though

Nothing like them? I wouldn't recognise them then and would probably get labelled a timewaster and a no show as I'd be too busy strolling round looking for the person I was expecting!!

If they're nothing like their profile why make excuses? Tell them the truth. They mislead people. Tell them to sling it!

I'd have a drink and say I'm not attracted.

I've said it before more than once

I wouldn't be a dick about it either.

I'dve suggested a shag behind the bins in the alley

I rarely say ill play with someone I don't know. I always say, we'll have a chat and see what happens.

I think majority of women respect that more anyway.

Just because I don't fancy them doesn't mean we can't chat and have a drink together

One of my best dates was with a man I didn't fancy in the flesh, ended up joining in with the pub quiz and leaving at closing
