It's a bit like the X Factor - well trodden, out of date, predictable, boring and needs to be axed with immediate effect.

Was certainly the worst I've ever seen. I'm not sure Terry Wogan was enjoying it either. It just seemed to be all Eastenders and boy bands. Maybe they can't get more acts cos they are all bored with it too

If most of the so called celebs who use this outdated event to promote their wares, paid their fair of income tax then there would be little need to have the likes of Terry Wogan venture onto the box again.

If this country cannot find the £30m or so the needy kids want then its a sad indictment of our society.

According to the BBC news24 I'm watching Mr Macaroon has announced we're sending another 30 millions to the Philippines - so it would seem the govt effortlessly can find the money but just don't wanna commit themselves to helping THIS country

love the cause, hate the show.

love the stuff they do on radio 2 all week leading up to it though.

the breakfast show has been awesome.

maybe, just maybe, its time for aul Tel to hand the reigns over to someone younger.

maybe Chris Evans could do something good with it next time

A good cause but I haven't watched it for years. All these charity programmes wouldn't be so bad if it stopped folk knocking the front door or shaking tins under your nose every time you went shopping

What about him being in Sri Lanka and telling the president how to run his country. Arrogant much?

Apparently the president is much lived in his country, gets told how to govern by a humpty NOT much lived in his own.

You couldn't make it up
