I'm watching Up in the Air (G Clooney) and am totally stumped with that young woman Natalie Keener. Can't understand a word she's saying. It's something that crept in over the recent years with American movies, and especially with the younger women - they hardly move their lips and have a most peculiar mumbling way of talking.
Is it me? |

No. I find the mumbling on films and television drama very annoying. I am a little hard of hearing but turning the volume up doesn't help because I can hear them I just can't understand what they are saying.

Trousers worn by a lady, usually of the larger variety.
Primarily made of lycra, or a similar stretchy material that enables you to clearly see the lips moving, but you cant hear them...
Mumbling pants can be witnessed at any weight watchers class.
