I love being single, I truly can't see me having a "proper" relationship again. I'm also lucky in that my best mate's husband is a non-dom so when he's working, she and I can take off if we want - that's why we'll be in Morocco at Christmas
I have plenty of family and friends local too so on the (very rare) occasions I feel lonely or if I need company then there's always someone around
Worse time for me was last Christmas, I'd had my hip replaced 2 weeks earlier so did feel it a bit, being pretty much immobile but fortunately there were folk around to take my mind off it |

I'm the only single adult in the family at Christmas, I have to put up with witnessing my perfect sister and her perfect boyfriend stuck up each others arses so it is the only time it really bothers me.
Been single for the last 5, saves me money though lol although an old FWB got me a little gift xx |

Hmm a bit mixed here.....yes, I am happy being single, I wont or can't say I get lonely at times but I would love to meet someone that I would like to spend the occasional evening with, just a shame it is so hard to bloody find |

My Mum likes to rub it in my face, when I was caring for her she would tell me it was my job to do the lions share as my sister has a boyfriend but then she has always played us against each other.
I'm fairly used to it now though, I don't have to buy presents for anyone lol I do have an old 'friend' who always calls or texts to say 'Happy Christmas' and posts a card x |

I enjoy being single, and never get jealous of other peoples relationships. To be honest I miss my daughter much much more than I have ever missed having a regular man in my life. |

No I dislike it. Christmas is always filled with memories and this year will be another difficult one. I loved being in loved and feeling loved.
I would to meet the special one that will love me and my life how it is.
Its true its better and have lost but it hurts like hell remembering how love felt.
I will focus this Christmas on my kids and their happiness. Hopefully happiness will find me x |

i'm happy to be single, and have no intentions of changing that, I have the best of both worlds I think, having kids my house is never empty and I never get lonely but I have my freedom to do as I with, just wish I had the time to exercise that freedom
whether I will feel the same when my youngest has grown up and left home only time will tell but by then i'll be told old to be bothered about men anyway lol |

"I recently put a similar post on here.
It can be either a lovely time of year or very very lonely!
Why doesn't somebody organise a 'single swingers' Christmas day?
I would be up for it."
Great thought...not sure my parents would like the idea lol |

I've been single all of 2013 by choice, due to a nasty break up and I don't mind it. Of course, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity if someone great came along, but I'm happy as a single too.
Christmas can be hard but I plan to spend time with friends and family. I won't be lonely. |

Being single is great. For instance, my dinner tonight was a sandwich left over from lunch, hardly worth making a fab feast for one tho is it. It's Friday night 9:30pm and I'm already thinking about going to bed (obviously alone). Won't bother setting the alarm because it doesn't matter what time I get up and that always helps waste the pointless weekend.
I wonder if anyone at work has noticed I'm always at the back of the 'clocking out' queue, as they dash for the door on a Friday, full of purpose and excitement.
I love being single, love that ever increasing selfish feeling, because everything you do is for yourself.
I recently joined a 'swingers' site to try and improve my non existent social life but it soon became depressingly obvious that it wasn't going to work.
So depressingly obvious in fact, that I now don't even masturbate anymore as it reminds me of what I'm not likely to be getting any time soon.
Can't wait for Christmas.
Anyway, bet that's cheered everybody up.
I'm of to my biscuit crumb infested bed now, see ya later.

Loneliest time in my life: Christmas before I left my husband. Never felt lonely being single, I have children, step children and family to eat me out of house and home and drive me crazy...I love Christmas, I take a month off work every year to prepare and get over it.
I love being single at the moment, I think it's because I'm never alone, my adult children haven't left home yet. Do I want to remain single for ever? No: still have time for husband number two! |

I think that's very true, if you are in a unhappy marriage its more lonely than being alone |

First year being single since I was 17. Just me and my teenage daughter, gotta admit I'm a bit scared. But I have a couple of friends nearby, and my mum, so hopefully I'll make it through. |
