Is it always a bad thing to have feelings for someone? If you meet someone for a long time surely you will have some feelings for them, even if only friendly ones? |

Liking someone is not a feeling, it's a fact
Feeling good after sex isn't always emotional attachment either, it can simply be emotional relief |

no, I like them but I don't want to be friends with them.
I think there is an obsession with friendship in the world of the internet.

So liking someone is an non emotive response, there is no feeling what so ever |

It's great. Means I still want them and think about them in a nice way that makes me feel warm inside. It doesn't have to be romantic or deeply emotional to have feelings for someone |

Like others with the last few posts. I'm human, not a robot, so I have feelings, including those I play with. Love is rare, so it is most unlikely to ever approach romantic levels and those types of emotions. I feel differently with those that I meet regularly with, compared to someone I may play with at a club just the once, of course. Proud to be a human with feelings towards others, including sex mates. |

Liking someone is not a response unless you're letting them know that you like them, and genuinely feel it.
Even then, liking someone can be something as unemotional as allowing yourself to trust them.
You can fuck and not bring your feelings into it.
Fucking is a physical response to physical attraction.
Some people can do it that way, others need the emotions.
Some people get together and fuck because it's what they like to do. It's a hobby they're lucky to share.
Any more eyball rolling for me Sherlock? |

I'm the same, for me friends and sex don't mix, if i meet someone and a friendship develops i stop having sex with them, i have made loads of friends through swinging and had lots of sex but prefer to keep the two separate |

I want to enjoy the social side of potential sex buddy to get a feel for there personality a. However, i don't want feelings to come into any kind of repeat shag friend. Feelings cause problems.
We have played with my best friend 4 times. A couple of times I've misjudged something that happened & feelings got in the way. Dangerous ground |

Seems perfectly natural to me. But a lot of folk around here run a mile at the thought!! |

It depends how you manage those feelings. I have feelings for both of my fwb's but was well aware that at some point I would not be able to see either of them again. Indeed I no-longer see either of them due to circumstances and I have coped fine as we were not boyfriend and girlfriend and I accepted that; I would be a liar if I said I didn't miss them though but that is as far as it goes. I guess I am able to separate strong deep feelings and love as I did not love either of them |

This is why I don't 'fall asleep' with them after sex, or see the same people too often |

All feelings are facts.
Emotional relief is a wank,
emotional attachment doesn't always mean marriage,it can be for the moment.
