So we are relocating to Brighton, over the next couple of months. Never even been there.

What's it like? Fun?

I love Brighton,its a fun vibrant and open minded place,Only ever visited as we used to live in Kent but I would'nt turn down living there,I hope you both settle in well,good luck

its really nice ..only one swingers place but the rest of the city more than makes up for it ( try legends not swingers but fun)

Thanks all, we've heard nothing but good about it, which is reassuring (even the areas to avoid seem small and easy to spot ).

Going to be fun moving to the coast!

never lived there so can only speak as visitors but we like the place..

it has an 'edge', its vibrant and has a good feel about it..

property isn't cheap though, then again its the Sarf East..

I've lived here all my life apart from 5 years in the Middle East so I can tell you it has it all:

More pubs/bars/clubs/restaurants than anywhere except London (in UK).

Theatres/cinemas/comedy clubs

Championship football/county cricket/dog track/horse racing

Marina/harbour (Shoreham)/beach/South Downs

Quite simply it's unique....pm if you want further in-depth information or post on thread

Parkings a ........... Nightmare with crazy prices......best to live 5- 7 miles away and have best of both worlds (city n countryside)

i second that ive got a highways permit and i still get parking tickets even when im working in the highway
