Cheekychops, don't go expecting fireworks. It's a date and that's for getting to know each other. You want to be able to meet again and build on that. If there is no connection then just move on to the next.
You don't give up on here because you have no spark with someone on a social meet. You just move on to the next.

I work in sales and I adoring meeting new people of all sorts of backgrounds. Just chatter, getting to know them.

What a drip! I used to see a guy who travelled well over 5 hours to see me and poor Ben got stuck on the M25 for 3 hours, 30 minutes is sod all.
Although the initial excuse off a guy to me was that I was too far and refused to let me travel 30 minutes to him, turns out he wasnt over his ex from 5 years ago |

I must have had about 15 dates over a few years whilst being single. Some liked me but I didn't like them and vice versa.
In the end I saw it as a night out with a friend and had no expectations of anything more. I was the happiest I'd ever been as a single woman.
THEN......I met my lovely mister. We were both happy to meet as friends only due to the distance between us. It was very unexpected that we would hit it off so well. Nearly two years later we are extremely happy and very much in love.
And had the bonus that we discovered we are both filthy!
