I think we all have tendencies for any of these. Even the straightest guy or girl would possibly cross the boundary, and the same for gay guys and girls. We all live along a line. some very very straight, some very very gay, most of us I feel are not on these real extremes, having the ability to enjoy same sex relationships with people. As for being bi, well we just admit to liking same sex partners some times |

They may be labels, but they mean something. If labels mean nothing, then by all means go to your cupboard and rip every one off each tin. See how long you last. C x |

The value of any label is only worth something if everyone has exactly the same understanding of it. It's clear that most of the population have really varied definitions of these particular ones.
Maybe we should have some sliding scale, so that we could draw a shade of mixed representative colours, representing current interest in some form of play with others of all genders. Sexuality does seem to vary over time, according to psychological research, so labels can easily get outdated. |

My profile says I'm gay, it's not a label as that's what iam and have no problem as being labeled gay, so it would be unfair if I described myself as bi, which I've been advised to do, to anyone who won't/don't meet gay guys. So sometimes the label is necessary as a policy of honesty. |

We label ourselves as bi seeking other bi couples and guys.
Our labelling helps all the "straight " guys find a bit of bi action.
So that's fair isn't it |

So people are like tins "
I occasionally like baked beans or ravioli, but I also keep spaghetti hoops in the cupboard for my son although I can't stand them. There is also the odd can of rice pudding or semolina in there too. How horrid would it be to find myself pouring the semolina onto my toast or worse still the dreaded spaghetti hoops - yuk, yuk, yuk - give me a label any day |
