The Metro have published a list of what is said to be the best and worse places to live in the UK, see below
http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/14/best-and-worst-places-to-live-in-uk-revealed-4186935/?ITO=facebook
Do you live in any of these counties and would you agree?
I'm a Londoner, quite close to Surrey which is really nice, most parts but I think there is good and bad in most places |

I live in one of the worst places in uk, people here die, on average 10 yrs before most other places, due to poor education, diet and unemployment, plus the chemical industry.
Highest rates of cancers and lukemia in uk, so not a good place to live |

Absolutely love some of their criteria...Since when does average broadband speed count towards the best and worst places to live?
Ask 100 people and I am sure they will all have different opinions of what makes a place good/bad.... |

Worst place i have lived is Merthyr Tydfil"
Merthyr wasn't so bad 25 year ago but from what I've heard from friends that are still there it's not good lol |

"I grew up in Berkshire. It was alright I suppose, better than where I live now."
I always think of Berkshire to be quite posh! Not sure why?
Parts of Hampshire are nice, my brother lives in Southampton and where he is is not very nice aesthetically! |

Up on them there hills |
I live where the village pub sign squeaks in the wind, the locals stop talking when you go in to have a drink and at night............. you don't stray off the path
Apart from that - it's great |

To me most of the countryside is lovely and most towns are horrible. There are far too many lazy scumbags throwing litter out of the car windows these days and most places just look a mess ! |

I live in clackmannanshire which ranked 6th on the list of the ten worse places to live behind glasgow and the borders. Clackmannanshire is the smallest county in scotland but is by no means the worst place to live |

The best place to live is anywhere in Briton.
Think the worst place to live would be somewhere in Syria or Somalia at the moment, but I would suspect that any Islamic state would be quite unpleasant if you happen to be female. |

This "lists" make me laugh, I live in Epsom Surrey. On year Epsom was on Kirsty and Phil's list as the number one place to live and on the metro list Surrey is 5th.....
Having said all this, only this week a "youth" was stabbed in Ewell not far from myself
So these "lists" are all nonsense everywhere has good and bad. As long as you are happy where you live, that is the "Best" place....
