Now I know there are a few bakers in the forums, now I'm off today and really looking to make something nice but that I might be able to package up and send to a friend. Any ideas?
Oh and is it too late to bake a decent Xmas cake? X |

If you are going to make a boozy Christmas cake its usually best to soak the fruit for approx 6 weeks before hand in my opinion. If not make a couple of cakes in loaf tins, easy to wrap up and package and less likely to get damaged. I would maybe try a decent coconut Madeira and a Banana Cake or even a Lemon Drizzle Cake. |
