Probably a distinctly higher level of self awareness and 'executive functioning' compared to other animals. Our frontal lobes are the key differentiator, allowing us to plan, have inhibition, decision making etc, that is more than just instinctive response to stimulation. In other words we can think and conceptionalire differently to other animals. Our ammunication abilities also seen superior. So we are masters at this and can plan and control our destinies. This is easier to fudge for ourselves than animals, as we cant ask and hear our fellow animal species how life is for them. |
