Yeah I totally agree, The thing that puzzles me is why did he go into the bag, in the bath for me that is the most noisiest place to try a wriggle about into it. Plus if there was any seepage from his decomposing body it would go down the plug hole and not through the floor to the flat below. So for me he was put in the bath after being put or told to go into the bag. |

When the story first broke it was the very fact that he was in the bath in the bag that led to the conclusion someone else had to be involved.
Contorting yourself into a bag is one thing. Locking it from the inside MAY be possible. But why do it in the bath?

I hadn't realised the bag was in the bath, but there is just no way he has zipped and padlocked a bag himself from inside it. Sounds to me like they just want to try to brush the whole thing under the carpet |

Meh. He was a spy. Of course we aren't being told the truth. We wouldn't be told the truth on principle, whether sensitive or not.
Of course he didn't put himself in a locked bag in the bath.

It is tragic for his family and friends,and not really my business to potentially cause then further upset by commenting. Spy work is private, so as long as no secrets are compromised, then it is better as a closed private case. (not bag). |

If the bag, said to be a sports bag, was flexible enough and not too stiff, it would be relatively easy to push into place a snap type padlock on the bag. From the inside, trough the fabric. If thats what was intended though i doubt it.
Mind you, the ex couldn't get the hang of it at all. |

Be interesting to see what comes out on the 25 year rule, might be worth a Freedom Of Information Act request in 2036.
However a few things are quite puzzling..... no DNA on bath, no DNA on padlock..... could it be worth swabbing down the aforementioned surfaces for hydrocarbon residue (often petrol is used to get rid of DNA, cordite, weapons residue)
Seconded from GCHQ to work with Security Services...... as a person of above average intelligence did he think "out of the box" and got too close to home for certain personnel. To quote the Americanism... "Black Ops" springs to mind... leave a body in a certain scenario which will cast doubts on that persons credibility. Publicise that the deceased had alternative sexual interests etc etc... experiment gone wrong yada yada yada... Draw your own conclusions folks (Btw I dont care who is monitoring this site overtly or covertly, but I do have certain procedures in place in case of unexplained absences, and I do know Karate, Sushi, Origami and several other oriental words ) |

there is also none of his dna on or inside the bath or on the outside of the bag, that in itself seems an impossible thing to achieve.

3/4 year old story dug up by shitty news corp on the day they loose the football! Ort maybe its to divert attention away from the conspiracy trial of 2 of their edditors and how many other of their senior management?
