I once saw an exhibition in Brighton and the original pictures are huge, about 20 feet wide and 10 feet tall.

New Order's 12" Blue Monday. The artwork on the cover is apparently based on a royalty and together with other costs , it actually loses money with every unit sold . And it still holds the record for units sold

I think Mike Oldfield had one where it came with a foil. The image was distorted until you placed the fiil in the middle of the artwork (shaped foil as a cylinder) and the image then came out as a reflection, ommadawn. I think.
