can someone please explain how her " failing to declare income " on her expenses form is any different from a benefit claimant doing exactly the same other than the benefit claimant wouldn't be allowed to "apologize" they would be locked up for fraud
another snout buried deep in the trough who gets away with it only apologizing cos shes been caught ! |

You cant be guilty if your rich enough to pay.
Along with the other thief that claimed for heating his stables,they should both be banned from office instantly.
As with everything else in this country,if your rich then the law is not applicable.
UKIP will be the only party worth a vote soon as the rest are to dishonest. |

the real kick in the old gentleman vegetables is that she paid her one daughter £35,000 a year and the other £45,000 to answer the phone and make the tea and when asked her response was 'i always have and always will employ my daughters first' (telegraph,2013) |

there is only one MP to my knowledge who never abused their expenses and even gave more than half his salary away to local charities.
his name is Dave Nellist the MP for coventry south east between 1983-1992
he worked out the average earnings of the constituents and that's what he paid himself
the rest went to local charities in his ward.
i don't agree with all of his policies however i respect the man for his actions. |

Some are, I grant you, but others are doing their best to represent their constituents.
If YOUR Member of Parliament is one of the toe rags - don't vote for them. Stand yourself or stand for whichever party is closest to your views and give Westminster hell. |

Lets not go over the top on this. She wasn't trying to defraud anyone like benefit cheats. She was just not as open as she needed to be on a list that has no consequences financially to anyone. I am 100% certain that all of us, given the opportunity, would lokk after our children before anyone else and most of us are will try to get away with paying the least amount of tax. |

not what i asked if you make a "mistake" on a benefits claim form and it later comes out you would be done for fraud you would not be believed that it was a mistake nor would you be able to "apolagise" and walk away scot free and thats the double standard i was pointing out |
