I've never had kik but always had BBM. Can't bear the thought of giving my phone number out after some nightmare bunny boiler moments (from adult men!) in the past. |

I'm a KIK fan but would also like to have a commonly used 'Bluetooth ' app so I could msg with nearby parked cars looking for the same as I am....... Years ago there were simple ways of doing that , but alas , no more......Any ideas? |

"Hi Can any one tell me what is kik and BBm ,, sounds fun "
Kik is the same as text messaging but it doesn't charge you fir sending pictures or texts. And its free to download and also you don't need to give your mobile number out just a user name I have it and think its great.
Bbm pretty similar. |

I use kik. Didn't try and sync with contacts. No personal details handed out. Nice light and discreet app. If anyone fancies a kik chat drop me a message |

Had to delete kik as I ran out of phone space."

Well they bought it recently so it remains to be seen.
Maybe link it to your fb or something. |

Well yeah. I mean maybe you sign into your fb account and migrate your contacts over from fb.
Who knows. |

Why is everyone so against using BBM? It's the most secure messaging service and it's available on all phones. Been using it for years and have met some great people from it |

I had KIK for an entire 45minutes and then deleted it not sure if that's cause I'm so used to bbm. But now bbm is cross platform anyway no need for shitty KIK. Just could not get on with the layout of it. Whatsapp is also good but obviously bbm saves giving out your number and much easier to block any unwanted creatures x |

Kik, fast and feels safer.
Don't like the fact people can randomly contact you with whattsapp and access your profile pic. Good job mine is clean!
Also the voice recorder allowing you to record and immediately send messages has given me hours of dirty talk fun.
There is a video add on too, only short clips though so you have to be creative!!
Kik lover!!! |

"Good thread - I think I better dig out that kik ID and have a play! I did download it once onto a pad but was put off by a bunch of random contact requests??"
Oh does Kik require wifi though?? I got really hacked off when my whatsapp didn't seem to work without wifi sometimes, whereas txt is always there?? Can you tell with kik if you have lost connectivity? |

I use kik
It's quick and easy, can send pics and also has photobomb so like snapchat and gives a glimpse but people can't keep pics..... Unless you want them too |
