But I just wondered why Some people on this site feel the need to slate others when they don't know them or spoke to them. I just been reading some stuff and it starts good then there is always one who feels the need to belittle someone or give them abuse?? Aghhh

Many of us will be happy to agree with you. I see it almost everytime I visit the forums.
But then when you visit a place where people happily sit with their bits hanging out, there is bound to be a lack of... inhibitions?!!
Just mind yourself and don't bat an eyelid at that shit!  |

Happened to me both on forum and in private messages. I've never been rude or offensive. No need for it.
Happens in all walks of life but much easier online behind the safety of anonymity. |

Tbf, when someone posts on the forums asking a question, and the answers don't please them for whatever reason, then they will invariably say they are being picked on.
Although, you do get the odd antagonist now n again. |

Very often anyone not agreeing with the poster of a thread is accused of "slating" them. It's inevitable that people will have a variety of opinions on a board like this and anyone who can't accept an opposing view should probably avoid posting.
It's also easy to misunderstand or misinterpret posts, or their intention, because so many aspects of communication are missing, (tone of voice, facial expression etc).
That said, some people can be downright insensitive or plain nasty sometimes. |

I think its pretty much inevitable to have frank exchanges of views in forums, and it would be no fun if everyone agreed all the time, but there is no call for abuse in private messages. |

Why mention you read things online. It happens offline too. Basically there ar a lot of cunts in this world. Trick is to avoid them at all costs. That way the people who don't do this and make you happy will be in your company more and the person should be more happy as that sort of person can cheer you up. |

most of us lead pretty boring lives
work, eat, sleep. work eat sleep
, so being able to have a cyber life is as good as it gets,
being contravercial, rude and selfish is pretty normal,
I mean just read some profiles, a list of 20 or 30 dislikes, rules, preferences, written by someone, in real life you wouldn't be seen dead with!
