If Fabswingers was a strictly pay for membership site only, do you think there would be less morons on here and would you become a member?
I must admit, there are a lot of nice and genuine people on here, but there is a very small minority. |

Obviously, as I love this site, I'd join, but if I were a newbie looking for a swinging site I don't know whether I'd pick this one (probs pick the cheapest, I am a bit of a tightwad  |

That's a very valid point guys. Morons do have money.
I suppose it's just life as there are all types of people everywhere, online communities, work place etc. |

Nearly all of the swinger/sex sites I have joined over the last 10 years were pay sites (at least for the men!) and it didn't stop fakes and timewasters from being on them.
I think the reason why I like this site is it has a totally different vibe than others. On here its more about the swinging community, not just sex, sex, sex all the time (honestly!). On pay sites the men get quite huffy if you turn them down because they believe that, due to the very high fee they pay, they are entitled to the women on there. Yes, this site suffers from that too but, being free, it happens less, and I feel less guilty turning people down if I don't fancy them. |

Also, whilst it may put off the chancers who have nothing to lose by joining and sending the 'fancy a fuck?' messages, it may also put off people who are genuine and dipping their toes.
I've found there are way more genuinely nice peeps on here than morons and even morons can twig on they aren't getting inundated with meets and learn from it.  |

Crikey, I've never been that far South. Will they be able to understand me? I was in Milton Keynes on Friday night and it took 3 attempts before I could be understood there!  |

I fail to see how charging would somehow eliminate the "undesirable" element. I think those who favour it just see it as a way of reducing membership and increasing their chances.
We wouldn't bother staying members if Fab came chargeable. We'd miss the forums but most of our meets are via clubs and the kink scene, this site is only a very small part of our swinging life. |

money and paying doesn't mean someone changes, its a sex site in cyber space, not real life, so it attracts all sorts.

Even I've been put off meeting some men on the paid sites. Their angry postings at not getting their sacs emptied on a regular basis makes you wonder how they'd be face to face.
They pay exorbitant subs and feel entitled to a meet. |

It is the high volume of users that keep fab healthy, with more choice. Less people would be far less attractive as a site and wouldnt work so well. It needs a good load of new users regularly joining to keep things fresh and to increase choice as well as improve opportunities for compatible meets. We just need to get better at spotting the morons and reporting trouble etc. |

I already pay but can be a moron sometimes, have screwed up many a possible longterm friendship but hopefully am less moronic now. I realise what guys don't want  |

I agree even morons and time wasters still will pay , but if paying a small fee discourages even 10% not to join it may mean 100 or so not joining up . That's a 100 less than before who spoil the fun |

Its a great Idea in principle however the reality is you would loose a huge percentage of users and someone else would set up another free site. |
