So, does anyone here play Sunday League football?

I turned 30 a couple of months ago and this is my first season back after 8 or 9 years of not playing.

It doesn't get any easier as you get older does it!

Used to love it. Now I'm too old and too unfit sadly. But I do miss it. Doesn't help that it was my only form of exercise

Was supposed to last season but had to delay playing due to a fractured wrist, & then my 1st game after that was a work charity 11-a-side in November where 15ish mins in I got my leg snapped. Just my luck. So was out for the rest of the season, despite actually getting back playing football in around May.

Signed on for my team again this season but I've jacked it in already. The pin running through my tibia and the screws make my leg sore after trying to get around the pitch for 45 mins let alone 90! I'll stick to 5-a-side.
