the remote control for the telly has gone on the blink so we cant mute the adverts
to drown them out we started singing "onward cristian soldiers" and then "englands green and pleasant land" at the top of our voices
but after about five sessions were now singing "compare the market dot com" |

We were watching the new the other night with the oldest kid when that ad came on. She had the strangest look on her face and said "OMG now I know why all the idiots in my class are singing that at school can you put in a complaint??" thing is 10 minutes later I heard her singing it as she went to the bathroom  
Worst thing I ever did was lose the doofer (well wasnt really me hubby lost it down the back of the sofa and blamed me cos I was sitting on the sofa) and the sky remote wasnt working properly so we couldnt mute without the proper doofer OMFG how loud are all the ads?? Woke the cat up and she wasnt a happy pussy
