My fave was always "chocolate concrete" with mint custard ....or normal....lol..
heres the recipe for lovers of it ...and the pudding
"Chocolate Crunch
200g plain flour
200g granulated sugar
100 g butter
50g cocoa powder
Prep
Preheat oven to 180 C /gas 4 mix flour, sugar & cocoa ( do not use hot chocolate)
2- melt butter in microwave add to mixture
3- using fingers mix all together until it has a crumble consistency
4- grease tin and pour mixture into it. Pat the mixture down so it compacts, place in oven for 20 minutes,
5- when it comes out sprinkle with sugar, serve hot or cold with custard
Yum, yum, enjoy!!!!"

OP as soon as I saw the title that's what I thought Mint custard out of this world - but no-one in east mids seems to have had it. Well we did in the west mids |

Fab... I(jiggle) loved this as a kid. Will have to lock Nutty in the kitchen with the ingredients.

Was just gonna post that, but with really runny hot custard that made the toffee stuff melt into it......

There were too many to chose from:
Apple crumble
sponge cake with icing topping
Chocolate sponge
Cornflakes/chocolate crispy thing
Golden syrup sponge cake
All these were with either normal custard or chocolate custard
Those were the days .... |

Nooooooooo.....they were really big (like wagon wheels used to be) and just had an indentation, where let's face it a dinner lady had probably put her thumb, and that had jam in it.... |

We had mint and also pink custard, at primary school. My favourites were Cornflake Flan and Yoghurt Pie, but nobody remembers it, let alone knows how to make it |
