A typhoon with wind speeds of 195mph has hit the Philippines! I don't think we realise how lucky we are with the weather here (yet still can't cope)

I do think we overreact to things in this country but then that's because we aren't used to extremes of weather.

Countries like the Philippines have typhoons seasons so are more experienced in dealing with them. Inasmuch as you can deal with an unpredictable force. It's sad to hear that 3 people have died already.

Need to know basis

I do....A local charity has appealled for clothes, medecine, blankets and thats where I'll be going this morning...to help them.

We really should worry about these typhoons, every new one increases exponentially in strength.
