Found a lump on one of my testicles this morning. Going to the doctors asap today.

Any advice from peeps who have been through this?

Thanks

Not been through it but stay calm. You are doing the right thing by going to the docs as soon as you found it.

Chances are high that it's nothing to worry about but maybe write down any questions you have so you don't forget them when you are in the Dr's.

Hope it goes ok x

hiding from cock pics.

A close friend of mine has this and the docs investigated and it's just a fatty cyst and harmless.

Hopefully they will put your mind at rest with similar results x

Over the years I've found four or five lumps like this. It started after my little brother had testicular cancer about 15 years ago (he's ok now ) and after that I was off down the docs like a scalded cat at any sign of a lump but the thing to remember is that Doctors don't mind. I was talking to my Doctor (in the pub) about my brother, soon after his operation, and what he basically said was that it had done every male in our family a favour as we would all check carefully from then on. He was right.

MOST OF THESE LUMPS ARE BENIGN.

Sorry for shouting but that is very important to remember.

Get down the Docs and relax

Good luck! Hopefully it will be nothing but a good reminder that guys should touch themselves on a regular basis and check for lumps.

Good luck, I hope it is nothing untoward.

I had this happen to me back in 1999 but I left it 3 month before going to the Dr's, it was found to be cancer, but it is the best type of cancer to get according to the doctors as there is a 95% success rate. I was told I was clear back in 2004.

If you need to ask any questions please just ask.

Up on them there hills

I turned into a pawnbroker and then into a double pawn broker within a short period of time - doctor picked up straight away there wasn't a problem because the lumps were not attached - I had a Ultrasound as a back up and there was no problem.

I was advised it was a by-product of my vasectomy and still have a couple (of lumps as well).

The worrying isn't worth it - you're doing the right thing - either way, the earlier it's dealt with the easier it is to sort things out.

Brilliant news, and this will be a great thread to refer anyone else to that finds a lump

I've just noticed you are in Wymondham, funnily enough the Doc I mentioned earlier was in E. Dereham, I lived in Whinburgh at the time
