Last night I was very pleasantly surprised how well this went. There were some success stories and also some that got no reply.
I often get no replies but oddly, the rejection makes me stronger. Anyone else going to try this, or report back on if it changed how you do things?

Yesterday's post in case you didn't see it-
If you normally just wait for people to mail you, will you try this?
Search for males/ couples (whichever you normally meet) and mail them. Then come back and let us know how it went.
Did you find someone you liked? Have you arranged a meet? Did you get no reply,and if so how did it feel?
If you won't try this... why not? I realise some people will say they already get enough mail, but this is just an experiment. Are you afraid of rejection? Why not just try and see what happens? |

I've never cold mailed anyone on here.
I do get a lot if mail but that's not the reason.
I feel if I mail them, they will assume they are "in" and I might decide later (depending on the reply) that they're not for me.
Then ya get accused of being a time waster etc.. |

Peaks and troughs. I have a few (very few) 'friends' I actually meet and one regular for over six months. The other day, due to deleted and the more polite ones sending short 'thanks but no thanks', I was seriously contemplating jacking it all in.
But for some reason (and I've no idea why?) I started getting replies! An all time high of 5 unread!!!!! in the space of about 10 minutes. One who'd recently moved into my friends list who I messaged saying I appreciate she was getting loads of messages and I didn't want to pester her messaged straight back with: 'don't stop coz I want to have you soon'.
I'm well aware from experience some are time wasters but I assure you not all.
Just a matter of plod on and take a break for whatever reason if feel the need to. Great if the reason's more than enough meets already |

Then presumably she has used her filters to block people she doesn't want to meet. Just because you want to meet someone, doesn't mean they will want to meet you. |

Rare I send prospecting mail these days, maybe 2 or three last week, the ones I do I d guess I get a 50% reply rate to them, 
Just checked I sent One on Monday to a lady,, must be something I said as,,,, user no longer on site,,, ,,, Me bad  |

Can I be very lazy and not read all the above answers/posts Miss Heels??
When I make first contact I send a face pic, then I have a 50% response (the other 50% goes dead).
Out of the 50% who respond (I did fancy them right!) half want me to do illegal stuff
Out the remaining numbers a percentage just do not appeal to me. Profile appeals, pic does not! I know I am so so shallow! Guilty!
Now I'm down to 0.00005% and guess what...we have similar interests and we will meet - for a coffee.
Coffee/lunch over my 'success rate' is 100% of the 0.00005% and I might get them all into one bed! ooooh I am so bad |

It's a great idea, we mainly consider those that message us. Time to change tact, it will obviously mean looking through profiles and chasing our type or those that we feel the vibe looking at/reading. Wish us luck ! |

My sweet Libertine, I have absolutely no doubt that being French, Bi, female and 50 (a bird of prey) has something to do with my success rate! 10% is a better response rate and shows that although you may not always be successful, the answers are from geuine people. And you are cute |

Ok, sent one wink, got one wow, one short conversation later a coffee meet was set for this morning. Overslept badly, went to ride a horse first, forgot my jeans and so had to go an hour late to a meet wearing jods, boots and spurs, hahaha! (Well, I coulda taken the spurs off but decided not too...)
Anyway, we had a drink and agreed to meet again and that's all I'm saying on here!!
