When chopping cucumber, I, David am preparing my lunch and suspect I throw away too much.....is it like that horrible end of a banana that gets left in the skin.....ewwww!

I cut it til it starts to taper at the end. With Nanas I always leave a bit in the skin at the end x

Chop it to the end and use it all.What about when eating an apple how much do you eat before tossing it? also which end do you peel a banana?
