Was greatly humbled today by the amount of people that came forward offering me a reference.
It turns out that the last official referee in my existing paid employment history died last week, which was shocking and also symbolised the past in many ways, as most places I worked at failed sometime after I left.
Now I have a bunch of references... from New Jersey and California lol they are official (some of them). So, has anyone ever been in that situation? Out of a job and without a pot to piss in? |

"Yes...I have you will get there in the end "
I'm liking that my negative experiences are few lately and that can turn them into positive ones. Like I said, humbling. So many people offered to help. I even have a reference from an irish nun lol true story! |

A number of my previous employers will not give references except to confirm I was employed by them for a specified period, and the number of days off work due to sickness.

LOL she is very naughty. Smokes like a trooper, drinks a lot of gin, swears like Father Jack and hates Popes. I cater for her functions and decorate her house |
