What is it about tonight that makes various groups come out on the knock?
Earlier on we had a guy from Sky round extolling the benefits of his company.
We're with Virgin, come to think of it we've never seen them on the knock.
Now we've just had a group of teacher/hippy type guys, from Save The Children, launching into a load of dialogue at twenty to the dozen.
All this while our over expensive heat was flying out of the door.
What is it at this time of year FFS ?

A very nice chap came into my office this afternoon, making small talk and looking all the while like a potential client. Sat down, made himself comfortable -i even offered him a brew. Then he asked if I'd found the Lord and offered me numerous leaflets, and this months copy of The Watchtower Jevovahs Witness magazne. |
